Don't be lonely! - Muhammad Nazeef

Image
ALONE AND WILD. When I was in high school, I was a nerd. I was engrossed in books with no one beside me to talk. I wasn’t everybody’s favorite but I was not at all born to impress anyone either. I had that strange feeling in my mind that being in a state of solitude is a gift in disguise. It isn’t necessary to have friends beside you unless you are very depressed or in a critical condition. Otherwise alone and wild is a recipe for a happy life. Why do we cry for not having any friend beside us? What make you so dependent on them? Is it that you cannot live life or you have been labelled ‘grey’? We are often haunted by loneliness thus we shift ourselves to online media. We spent hours and hours without noticing the stars that has already begun to twinkle. Witnessing scenes of children shifting to pornography is even more a horrible sight. Some people lock themselves inside their house moaning over the gloomy side of their lives with tears in their eyes. These thing...

The martyred groom - Hanzalah [RA]

One of the most beautiful phase of life is when you are young and married. Everything feels so complete and promising. This particular period of life seems to be so pleasant. Happiness encompasses from every nook and corner and sorrow vanishes leaving no trail behind. Unlike the marriage of Hanzalah [RA] . .  He was a man who gave up his life in the battle of Uhud   despite being newly married. He was Hanzala bin Abu Amir. His father, Abu Amir was a monk and an enemy of Islam. [he was also nicknamed al-fasiq which means an evildoer.] He was among the Makkan polytheist during the time of battle of Uhud.] As soon as he heard about the fray, He set out his way directly to the battle of Uhud. He left his wife's bed to wrestle in the battle.  He made his way through their [polytheists] ranks till he reached the leader Abu Sufyan. He had nearly killed him but he was destined to be a martyr. No sooner the clock had taken its next breath, Hanzala [RA] w...

An open letter to CA khaleel Sir.- nazeefwrites

Assalamualaikum, I am Muhammed Nazeef Manegar. I am a teacher. I run my blog with my pen name ‘nazeefwrites’. I want to bring change through my writing. I believe that writing without implementation of action is lame. Therefore, I request you to ponder over these words and help me to bring change. Education plays a major role in any society. As Mandela said “ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” The nation cannot prosper if it does not have enough educationists. Education gives us opportunities to explore and expand beyond imagination and horizon. Our town is blessed with many institutions yet we lack in producing government officials. Our students are ill-informed about government sector job. Recently a function was held to create awareness regarding government sector jobs but arranging these programs will do no good if the students do not get the resources. We need guidance that can help us to reach our targets. When I met mo...

How Bhatkal can help syria. -NazeefWrites.

How Bhatkal can help Syria. -Nazeefwrites I remember a moment in my life where Bhatkal town stood with Jammu and Kashmir when it was struck with natural disaster which resulted in heavy flooding and huge loss of property. Back then I was in Degree College acquiring my education in bachelors of Science. I remember skipping my classes and joining my friends in campaign to help Kashmiris with whatever we can. We started the journey from our college and roamed to every nook and corner to collect the donation from market places. Later all this donation was given to the elders of our society who then went to the land of Kashmir to provide sustenance with whatever we collected. Today once again the Muslims are pleading for help. The children are stretching their hands out for the sake of food and water. Women are crying for the safety and men are pleading for shelter to sustain their lives. If you are still thinking what I am talking about, Then let me tell you I am lamenting abou...

Spend time with yourself-NazeefWrites

Spend time with yourself -NazeefWrite I have developed a habit to go for a walk after Isha prayer. The cold chilly nights offers me a great rejuvenation. I developed this habit after I felt my schedule getting tighter and to-do-list growing longer. I found myself drowning into the ocean of tension and anxiety. I wanted a space where I will have no one to talk to or share with. All I needed was some ‘me –time’. After I finish performing the last congregational prayer of the day, I swiftly walk towards the ‘zaliye road’. It is a beautiful way with few travelers to step on its back. Most of the time it is enveloped with silence. This is the only time where I feel to ask questions about myself. I interrogate. I resolve some issues during the process. I design projects in my mind and I mull about the writings of great authors. Sometimes, I also plan for the next day. Maulana Abul kalam Azad used to wake up early and spent some time researching the verdicts of great scholars. St...

Men who are afraid   nazeef-writes To those men who does not stop themselves to smell flowers for they are too busy in climbing mountains. To those men who are afraid to show their emotions for the fear of losing their masculinity. My words are for those who always keep themselves occupied in order to finish their target. I dedicate my ink to those men who are afraid to cry out loud. I give my voice to those who are choking themselves day and night. Men who are afraid to watch the sunset of their lives. Men who are afraid to climb mountains or swim in oceans. Men who are been crushed. Men who are being rejected, dejected and dethroned. Men suffering from diseases. Men who gave up their passion. Men who lost their true companions. Men who are afraid of being unique or different. Men who want to try. Men who want to fly. Men who are afraid to perform. Men whose voices have not gained momentum. Men who are afraid of commitments. Men who are afraid of showing litt...
