How Bhatkal can help syria. -NazeefWrites.

How Bhatkal can help Syria. -Nazeefwrites I remember a moment in my life where Bhatkal town stood with Jammu and Kashmir when it was struck with natural disaster which resulted in heavy flooding and huge loss of property. Back then I was in Degree College acquiring my education in bachelors of Science. I remember skipping my classes and joining my friends in campaign to help Kashmiris with whatever we can. We started the journey from our college and roamed to every nook and corner to collect the donation from market places. Later all this donation was given to the elders of our society who then went to the land of Kashmir to provide sustenance with whatever we collected. Today once again the Muslims are pleading for help. The children are stretching their hands out for the sake of food and water. Women are crying for the safety and men are pleading for shelter to sustain their lives. If you are still thinking what I am talking about, Then let me tell you I am lamenting abou...

Spend time with yourself-NazeefWrites

Spend time with yourself -NazeefWrite I have developed a habit to go for a walk after Isha prayer. The cold chilly nights offers me a great rejuvenation. I developed this habit after I felt my schedule getting tighter and to-do-list growing longer. I found myself drowning into the ocean of tension and anxiety. I wanted a space where I will have no one to talk to or share with. All I needed was some ‘me –time’. After I finish performing the last congregational prayer of the day, I swiftly walk towards the ‘zaliye road’. It is a beautiful way with few travelers to step on its back. Most of the time it is enveloped with silence. This is the only time where I feel to ask questions about myself. I interrogate. I resolve some issues during the process. I design projects in my mind and I mull about the writings of great authors. Sometimes, I also plan for the next day. Maulana Abul kalam Azad used to wake up early and spent some time researching the verdicts of great scholars. St...

"MEN WHO ARE AFRAID" -nazeefwrites

Men who are afraid   nazeef-writes To those men who does not stop themselves to smell flowers for they are too busy in climbing mountains. To those men who are afraid to show their emotions for the fear of losing their masculinity. My words are for those who always keep themselves occupied in order to finish their target. I dedicate my ink to those men who are afraid to cry out loud. I give my voice to those who are choking themselves day and night. Men who are afraid to watch the sunset of their lives. Men who are afraid to climb mountains or swim in oceans. Men who are been crushed. Men who are being rejected, dejected and dethroned. Men suffering from diseases. Men who gave up their passion. Men who lost their true companions. Men who are afraid of being unique or different. Men who want to try. Men who want to fly. Men who are afraid to perform. Men whose voices have not gained momentum. Men who are afraid of commitments. Men who are afraid of showing litt...

LISTEN TO OTHERS

Image
LISTEN TO others. We all are busy in our life. We all are facing the battle of depression and anxiety. Life has become difficult and challenging ever since technology has become fast forward. Time has engulfed our schedule. Distance has destroyed our relationships. Days are slipping like minutes and we are on a journey to become materialistic. The world has become a whirlpool of downheartedness and dejection. The most heart-wrenching part, we all are drowning into it. Instead of pulling each other up, we are pushing ourselves and also others into the endless pit. . At the time of despair and downturn, we need to understand each other. We need to give time . We need to listen. But how shall we understand each other? By what means we can cement the gap between us? Listen to them. Ask yourself, when was the last time you listened to your loved ones genuinely? When was the last time you approached your closed ones and asked them about their condition? Did you...

GIVE SPACE- Nazeef Manegar

Image
give space. There was a moment in my life where I was surrounded by the people who controlled my mind and heart. I was supposed to do what they want me to do. I was supposed to talk like them. I was supposed to laugh, eat and act like them. At first, it was fine. I began to accept their rules and regulations. later, things didn't workout. I started feeling anxious. I grew nervous. I realize that I was in a bad relationship with these people. I remember where one of my friend said ' you have to uproot your plant if the root grew poisonous'. M circle was harmful. I was been controlled. I didn't have any freedom to express my views, thoughts and opinions. Life seems so unfair at that point. . but the idea of love and friendship was still in my mind. I feared for I didn't have anyone to get mingle with during my college days. I was feared by the idea that I will be left alone with no one around me. I was feared by the notion of getting bullied by them. I was sc...

Little things with great love-1

Image
Little things with great love - 1 It was dusk. The sky turned crimson red. I headed towards masjid to offer magrib prayer. I saw an extremely old man. He had a slouch body and stick in his hand. My eyes were fixed on him. I gazed at his twinkling eyes that concealed thousands of sagas, explanations, regrets and memories. We finished our magrib prayer and I was sitting behind the old man. I watched his trembling hands reaching towards the dusty shelf where the holy book of Allah And other Islamic text were kept.  I wondered how the tiny eyes with blurred vision could read a book. How could he hold such a heavy book with his soft hand? Meanwhile, another hand reached towards the shelf and he took hold of the book. The man took a chair and sat beside the old man. He opened the marked chapter. Not only he read but explained every single line. The man threw his hands on air as he explained him the rules and regulations of ‘ salah ’ that was written on the book. I continu...
